Refund Policy

Overview
PrepToDone offers subscription-based access to AI-powered admissions guidance tools. We want you to feel confident about your purchase.
This policy outlines when refunds are available and how to request one. All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles all transactions on our behalf.
Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable. If you cancel a monthly subscription, you will retain full access to your plan until the end of the current billing period.
- After the billing period ends, your account will revert to the Free plan.
- No partial-month refunds are issued.
Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of the initial purchase date.
- The request must be submitted within 7 calendar days of your first charge for that subscription period.
- Refund requests after 7 days are not eligible.
- Renewal charges (year 2 onward) are not eligible for refunds.
What Is Not Refundable
The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstance:
- Charges older than 7 days (annual plans).
- Monthly subscription charges.
- Partial months of service.
- Accounts that have been suspended for violation of our Terms of Service.
- Subscription periods already partially or fully consumed.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email hello@preptodone.com with the following information:
- Subject line: "Refund Request".
- Your account email address.
- Date of purchase.
- Reason for the refund request (optional but helpful).
We will respond within 2 business days. Eligible refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days and returned to the original payment method.
Cancellation vs. Refund
Cancellation stops future charges — it does not issue a refund. You can cancel at any time from your account Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
To cancel AND request a refund (if eligible), you must do both separately: cancel via Settings, and email us at hello@preptodone.com.
Exceptional Circumstances
We review refund requests on a case-by-case basis for situations such as:
- Accidental duplicate charges.
- Technical issues that prevented access to the Service for an extended period and were caused by PrepToDone.
In these cases, we may issue a full or partial refund at our discretion regardless of the standard policy above.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when changes were made. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
