The experience.
Our founder went through the US admissions process twice — as an undergraduate, and again for an MBA — earning an engineering degree from a top US engineering school and an MBA from a top MBA program. The same wall came up both times: scattered tools, conflicting advice, no honest read on where an applicant actually stands. So we built the tool that should have existed.
The data discipline.
Behind the scoring engine is a decade spent inside Google, Meta, and Apple — where decisions aren't made on hunches, but on data, at a scale most people never see. Show us the source. Show us the number. That standard is wired into everything PrepToDone reports.
Grounded in published filings.
Every figure in the document is one the school published, and it is shown with the filing it came from: IPEDS and College Scorecard from the U.S. Department of Education, and each college's own reporting where that is the source. We cite our sources. Most tools just guess. Where a school published nothing, we print the absence instead of an estimate. No anecdotes, no inflation.
What we promise.
Not admission — a decision you can check. One document: the call on which school gets which round, every published figure it rests on, and a record of that call that cannot be edited after the decisions come out.
