About PrepToDone

PrepToDone is a college application review platform that turns the official admissions data colleges already publish into a personal score and an actionable plan. We compare your profile against the published admit profiles of 649 US colleges so you know — before you apply — where you stand and where to push.

What you get

  • A competitiveness score on the same scale every applicant receives, computed from your GPA, test scores, activities, awards, and essays.
  • Reach / match / safety classification for every school in the catalog — not against a generic national average, but against your own breakdown.
  • Gap analysis with the two largest weak areas surfaced first, plus a 12-month action plan you can start this week.
  • Optional essay review — per-draft feedback on hook, structure, and voice.

Where the data comes from

School-level numbers come from official, primary sources:

  • Common Data Set (CDS) — admit rates, test score ranges, and class profile metrics published directly by each institution.
  • IPEDS — federal Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System for enrollment, financial-aid, and graduation outcomes.
  • College Scorecard — US Department of Education data for cost, debt, and earnings outcomes.

We don't infer numbers, scrape forums, or guess. If the official source doesn't publish a value, we mark it "estimated" and surface the disclaimer.

Who we serve

Undergraduate applicants worldwide who want a data-grounded view of where they stand at US colleges — without spending five figures on a private consultant.

How to start

The free tier shows you your score across the catalog. The paid Application Review unlocks per-school analysis, the gap report, and the action plan.

Results are data-based estimates and do not guarantee admission.
