How to read your position

The middle-50% SAT band

Each college reports the 25th and 75th percentile SAT scores of its admitted class. The highlighted segment is that middle-50% range. Your marker shows whether your total SAT falls below, inside, or above it — a factual position, not a prediction.

The admitted GPA average

Colleges report an average admitted GPA rather than a band, so the GPA bar marks that single average and shows where your own unweighted GPA sits relative to it.

SAT and GPA are two inputs among many. Course rigor, activities, leadership, awards, essays, and recommendations all shape an application. Your free full score weighs your academics, activities, and awards against each school’s published data.
